A nose — for smell, scent, and all things olfactory. "The coffee smell this morning was absolutely extraordinary 👃" or for unpleasant smells: "Something in this room does not smell right 👃". It's also used when something metaphorically "smells off" — sensing something suspicious.

In Japanese idiom, "hana ga takai" (nose is high) means being conceited, adding cultural nuance. For allergy and sinus complaints during hay fever season it's a natural fit. The nose represents a sense we use constantly and often take for granted until something wonderful or terrible demands our attention.
